It’s hard to believe, but Metroid Prime: Federation Force is only a couple weeks away from releasing in North America. The co-op FPS looks set to expand on the gameplay of the classic sub-series, though it has certainly drawn ire from many fans due to its divisive art style and multiplayer-centric gameplay. Still, Next Level Games did a fantastic job with Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, so this game at least has the potential to be something good.

For those of you that just can’t wait for it to release, the game is now available to pre-load on the eShop in North America. It costs the standard $40, and will download most of the data to your 3DS so you can play it immediately on launch day. Remember, Metroid Prime: Blast Ball is also still available as a free download right now, for those of you that would like to get a taste of the gameplay.
