We’ve become accustomed to high capacity batteries lately, with most premium smartphones packing close to 4000mAh’s worth of juice. Most budget phones, though, skimp on a fat battery, so it was a nice surprise to see LG announce the LG X Power phone that sports a very healthy 4100mAh battery. Better yet, it supports fast charging.

It’s a budget phone with an RRP of $349, so definitely far away from the usual premium pricing zone. We haven’t had hands-on yet with the X Power, but hope to bring you a review soon. The device is 7.9mm thick and sports a 5.3-inch HD screen.

If anything, it’s nice to see phone makers do something a little bit different and offer a device with such long legs at a nice price.
