It’s a few hours yet before the GTX 1080 becomes official, but we already have an idea of the performance we can expect from Nvidia’s new flagship graphics card.

3Dmark benchmarks have shown up on VideoCardz.com, tested alongside both a Core i7 5820K processor, and a Core i7 3770. And it looks like the 8GB card does not disappoint.

The 1080 plus 5820K combination scores P19,005 on the 3DMark 11 Performance 1.0 benchmark, and the 3770 combo scores 8,959 on Fire Strike Extreme 1.1.

Yup – that’s fast.
