Nintendo has announced that Super Mario Run will finally be released on Android next week. The mobile game will be available ont he Google Play store on March 23, and will carry the same price as on iOS: $10.
As with the iOS version which was released last December, the game will have a demo where the first three levels are free to play. If you want more, you’ll have to fork up the full price of 10 bucks.
The game has been a big success for Nintendo, but not as big as some had hoped, mainly due to its high price (for a mobile game).
Nevertheless, Mario Run has been downloaded more than 80 million times to date, and has made Nintendo more than $30 million.
Those numbers should increase considerably as the game becomes available to millions of Android users worldwide next week.
