Now that the Nintendo Switch is officially out in the wild, Digital Foundry is doing a good job of cataloguing the technical aspects of Nintendo’s newest console. Today the team has a new video showcasing the difference in loading times when using the three different storage mediums available to the console.
The video focuses on finding out which loading speeds are the fastest based on where the game is stored. The short answer? If you want your games to load with the fastest time possible, put your game on the internal storage. Digital Foundry notes that it’s only a few seconds that you’ll save, but what’s even more interesting is that the higher class microSD card they tested actually performed the worst!
Check out the video if you have a chance.
