The Nintendo Switch has been dominating japanese console sales over the past few months, especially in the last month with the release of Splatoon 2 and the increased supply from Nintendo.

But that seems to be over now, as the Switch tumbled down in sales in Japan last week.

The Switch sold just 22,000 units last week, compared to 87,000 units the week before. The drop in sales was big enough for the PS4 to take the number one spot with 28,000 units sold last week.

Things look better on the software side, where 4 of the top 10 best selling games were on the Switch, and another 4 were 3DS games.
